Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms of Service carefully (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) before using the Service operated by FinnishHost (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check for changes regularly.
1. Prohibited Content and Activities
- Hosting pornographic material in any form.
- Uploading or distributing any copyrighted content (software, code, images, videos, etc.) without proper permission from the copyright holder.
- Launching or participating in attacks that could cause damage to our servers or third-party systems.
- Sending spam through our servers.
- Possession or distribution of any prohibited content.
2. Back-ups
FinnishHost keeps daily backups of your servers for up to a one week period. These backups are provided to you as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.
We regularly check our backups but cannot be held responsible if the backup you require does not exist or work.
3. Game Servers
Editing the number of players your server allows to a number above the amount you have paid for will result in immediate suspension of your server.
(Our system will give you warnings on this.) If you fail to fix it, your server will be suspended and your account banned from our platform.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 We reserve the right to terminate a service with immediate effect if an account is being used inappropriately or otherwise misused in a way we find damaging and against our Terms of Service.
4.2 We reserve the right to decide on a case-by-case basis what is damaging to our service and the appropriate action to take.
4.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service.
4.4 If the customer has followed our Terms and Conditions, you will be offered a refund of your remaining time.
4.5 You are entitled to a full refund if you find your server is not working as expected and the following conditions apply:
- You inform us of the issue within 5 days of the initial purchase of your server.
- You allow 2 working days for us to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
- The fault is due to our server setup and not any modifications or 3rd party code you wish to use.
- The fault is due to performance, server stability, or network performance.
- The refund will be kept as credit in your control panel only.
- You have 2 working days from when the refund is available in your control panel to request payout to the original platform you paid us with.
- If no payout request is made within 2 days, the refund remains as credit in your control panel and cannot be paid out later.
4.6 In case of any chargebacks, we will suspend your account, terminate all your services, and pursue legal action.
5. Loss, Compensation and Downtime
We cannot accept liability for any loss suffered as a result of any failure or fault in any service provided by us.
Compensation will be provided if the cause of the fault is deemed to be our setup and not the customer’s personal setup on the server.
Compensation is provided as a credit to your account to go against invoices from us.
We strive to have high uptime, but in the event of a server failure we cannot give a timeframe on when your server will be operational again.
However, you will be offered a credit and moved to a new server, with your existing IP if possible.
6. Account Removal
If you wish to remove any accounts with us, please contact us directly by opening a support ticket.
Upon account deletion, you agree that your account details will be saved for up to 60 days to prevent fraud from chargebacks.
When requesting account removal, you agree that your account will be closed and no longer usable. If you want the account back, you will need to open a new account.
7. Setup Time
We cannot guarantee a time scale for server setup, however most are ready within 5 minutes.
We avoid overselling our servers, but if you are placed on a server that is overcapacity, you are entitled to a credit and move to a new server when it becomes available.
8. Trial Packages
8.1 Any trial package from us is not our normal product but a try-out of our features and products.
8.2 You are not a paying customer during the trial period and therefore have no rights to submit reviews or complaints from our platform.
8.3 Misuse of our 7-day trial will lead to account suspension and banning from our platform.
8.4 In some cases, we may offer existing customers a trial when a new service is launched.
9. Service Mods and Plugins
We do not hold responsibility if any mods or plugins do not work correctly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility and proper functionality.
However, if issues arise, we are actively working on improvements and are happy to assist.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinnishHost and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Finland.
13. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under their accounts.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
14. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to services at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to FinnishHost or its users.
Upon termination, all licenses and access rights granted to you will immediately cease.
15. Modification of Terms and Notification
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the bottom of this page.
Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
We encourage you to review this page regularly for updates.
16. Service Availability and SLA
We strive to provide a stable and reliable hosting environment with high uptime. However, we do not offer formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs). All services are provided on a best-effort basis. Users may cancel their services at any time, and no long-term contract is required..
17. Payment Terms
Payments must be made in full before the provisioning of services.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
18. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, trademarks, service marks, logos, and intellectual property used or displayed by FinnishHost are owned by or licensed to us.
You may not use, copy, modify, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written permission.
19. Third-Party Links and Services
Our services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by FinnishHost.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that FinnishHost shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party content.
