Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms of Service carefully (“Terms”) before using any services operated by FinnishHost (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Definitions

Service – Any hosting, server, or related service provided by FinnishHost. Client – Any individual or entity using our services. Account – A registered profile used to access our services.

2. Eligibility

Clients must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By using our services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

  • Hosting pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material
  • Content or systems unsuitable for minors or a general audience
  • Uploading or distributing copyrighted content without permission
  • Launching attacks on servers or third-party systems
  • Sending spam or malicious traffic
  • Possession or distribution of illegal or prohibited content
  • Any activity that violates third-party platform rules (e.g. game publishers such as Minecraft / Mojang)

Clients are fully responsible for all content, configurations, mods, plugins, and user activity on their services. Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of services without prior notice.

4. Back-ups

Backups are not created automatically by FinnishHost. Clients are solely responsible for creating and managing their own backups using the tools provided. If a client configures backup schedules, backups may be generated accordingly. However, backups are provided as a convenience only and are not guaranteed. FinnishHost is not responsible for missing, failed, corrupted, or unusable backups or any data loss.

5. Game Servers

Modifying server limits (such as player slots) beyond purchased specifications may result in immediate suspension. Servers must be operated in a manner suitable for a general audience environment. Systems that may be considered harmful, inappropriate, or misleading to users may result in enforcement action. Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if misuse, abuse, or policy violations are detected. 6.2 We determine, at our sole discretion, what constitutes misuse, abuse, or harmful activity. 6.3 Services may be suspended or terminated at any time to protect infrastructure, users, or platform integrity. 6.4 Refunds may be issued for unused time only if the Terms have been followed. 6.5 Refund eligibility requires:
  • Issue reported within 5 days of purchase
  • 2 working days allowed for investigation
  • Issue caused by our infrastructure (not third-party software, mods, or plugins)
  • Issue related to performance or stability
Refunds are issued as account credit. Payout must be requested within 2 working days. 6.6 No refunds will be issued for services suspended or terminated due to violations of these Terms. 6.7 Chargebacks will result in immediate suspension, termination of all services, and potential legal action.

7. Loss, Compensation and Downtime

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinnishHost is not liable for any loss, including but not limited to data loss, revenue loss, or business interruption. Compensation, if any, will be issued as account credit at our sole discretion.

8. Account Removal

Accounts may be deleted upon request. Data may be retained for up to 60 days for fraud prevention. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

9. Setup Time

We do not guarantee setup times. Most services are deployed within minutes, but delays may occur.

10. Trial Packages

Trial packages provide full access for a 3-day period. Trials are for evaluation purposes only. Abuse, including creating multiple accounts to bypass payment, may result in suspension or permanent ban.

11. Mods and Plugins

We are not responsible for third-party mods or plugins. Compatibility and stability are the client’s responsibility. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all mods, plugins, and configurations comply with these Terms and do not introduce prohibited or inappropriate content.

12. Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR)

We process personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process data for:
  • Service provision and account management
  • Fraud prevention and security
  • Legal compliance
Clients have the right to:
  • Access their personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinnishHost shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or service availability. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be handled by Finnish courts.

15. Account Information and Verification

Clients must provide accurate, complete, and valid information upon registration and maintain it at all times.
  • First and last name
  • Full address
  • Valid phone number
Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information is a violation of these Terms. Failure to provide valid information upon registration or when requested may result in immediate suspension or termination of services. FinnishHost reserves the right to request verification at any time and to refuse or terminate services where verification is not completed.

16. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if violations occur. FinnishHost reserves the right to act immediately in situations involving harmful, inappropriate, or high-risk activity. FinnishHost reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion.

17. Service Availability

Services are provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime or SLA. We do not guarantee specific performance metrics such as latency, tick rate, or hardware performance.

18. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in advance. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

19. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials are owned or licensed by FinnishHost. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

20. Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or external links.

21. Force Majeure

FinnishHost is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including power outages, ISP issues, network failures, or cyber attacks.

22. Network Usage and Responsibility

Clients are responsible for all activity originating from their services. Any abuse, attacks, or violations traced to a client’s service may result in immediate suspension or termination.
