Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms of Service carefully (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) before using the Service operated by FinnishHost (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check for changes regularly.

1. Prohibited Content and Activities

  • Hosting pornographic material in any form.
  • Uploading or distributing copyrighted content without permission.
  • Launching attacks on servers or third-party systems.
  • Sending spam through our servers.
  • Possession or distribution of any prohibited content.

2. Back-ups

FinnishHost keeps daily backups of your servers for up to a one-week period. These backups are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. We regularly check our backups but cannot be held responsible if the backup you require does not exist or work.

3. Game Servers

Editing the number of players your server allows above the purchased limit will result in immediate suspension of your server. Warnings will be issued by our system, and failure to comply may result in suspension or account termination.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 We reserve the right to terminate a service with immediate effect if an account is being used inappropriately or misused.

4.2 We reserve the right to decide on a case-by-case basis what is damaging to our service and the appropriate action to take.

4.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any service.

4.4 If the customer has followed our Terms and Conditions, you will be offered a refund of your remaining time.

4.5 You are entitled to a full refund if the following conditions apply:

  • You inform us of the issue within 5 days of purchase.
  • You allow 2 working days for us to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
  • The fault is due to our server setup and not any modifications or 3rd party code you wish to use.
  • The fault is due to performance, server stability, or network issues.
  • The refund will be kept as credit in your control panel.
  • You have 2 working days from when the refund is available in your control panel to request payout.
  • If no payout request is made within 2 days, the refund remains as credit and cannot be paid out later.

4.6 In case of chargebacks, we will suspend your account, terminate all services, and pursue legal action.

5. Loss, Compensation and Downtime

We cannot accept liability for any loss suffered due to failures in our services. Compensation will be provided as a credit if the fault is ours. High uptime is our goal, but no timeframe is guaranteed.

6. Account Removal

If you wish to remove any accounts, please contact us. Account data will be saved for up to 60 days to prevent fraud. Deleted accounts cannot be restored; a new account must be created.

7. Setup Time

We cannot guarantee a setup timescale, though most servers are ready within 5 minutes. Oversold servers may result in credits or migration to new servers.

8. Trial Packages

Trial packages are not full products. Users are not paying customers during trials and have no rights to reviews or complaints. Misuse of trials may result in suspension or banning.

9. Service Mods and Plugins

We are not responsible for mods or plugins not working correctly. Compatibility and proper functionality are the user’s responsibility, but we will assist where possible.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data according to applicable laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Limitation of Liability

FinnishHost and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Finnish courts.

13. User Responsibilities

Users must maintain account security and are responsible for all activity under their accounts. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

14. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice for violations or harmful conduct. All access rights cease immediately upon termination.

15. Modification of Terms and Notification

We may modify Terms from time to time. Updated “Last Updated” dates indicate changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Service Availability and SLA

Services are provided on a best-effort basis with no formal SLA. Users may cancel services at any time; no long-term contracts are required.

17. Payment Terms

Payments must be made in full before service provisioning. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

18. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are owned or licensed by FinnishHost. Unauthorized use, copy, or distribution is prohibited.

19. Third-Party Links and Services

Our services may include third-party links. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Use of third-party content is at your own risk.
