In this guide, we’ll help you fix a Call of Duty 2 server that won’t start using panel actions in TCAdmin.
Step 1 — Log in & Check Console
Open your service and read the last lines in Web Console for errors (e.g., “Could not exec server.cfg”).
Step 2 — Clean Old Update Cache (if present)
Open File Manager. If you see a folder such as steamapps or an old update cache, delete it.
Step 3 — Update / Verify Server Files
Click Update Server Files (or Reinstall/Verify) to restore missing or corrupted files.
Step 4 — Re‑save Your Config
Open server.cfg in Configuration Files and click Save once to normalize formatting.
Step 5 — Restart
Click Restart and watch the Web Console until startup completes.
Still Not Starting?
- Open a support ticket with the server name/ID.
- Include the last 20–30 lines from Web Console and list recent changes.
